The 33 best views, scenic lookouts, and viewpoints in Sedona (2024)

A popular sightseeing tour agency in Sedona is Pink Jeep Tours, which takes riders on off-road adventures in their iconic open-air pink jeeps. This is a great option for first timers and the family can enjoy different levels of intensity.

Took the family and in-laws on the 3PM Broken Arrow tour on 5/1/22 with Pink Jeep Tours and we had a blast. Barry was our driver and tour guide and he is AWESOME!!! This is a bumpy, gravity defying tour with the most amazing views you can only see in Sedona. This trail is exclusive to Pink Jeep Tours and individuals who dare it, but after seeing the flipped jeep they lifted out on our way in, I highly recommend letting the experts at Pink Jeep take you in their 1 ton Jeeps that are custom built for this insane terrain. It was crazy windy the day we went, but Barry took great care of us and made sure we stayed safe. I will absolutely be booking another tour soon and requesting Barry.

1st off Request Laura Dong-Byrnes best guide EVER!!! She was incredible! The tour was amazing but the best part was our guide!! Over hearing the other tour guides around us did nothing like her. She was funny, knowledgeable, best photographer, and great driver! I felt very safe with her behind the wheel! The views were perfect, the stopping points were perfect! 10/10 Highly recommend the Broken Arrow Tour!

Pretty much got to take a private tour because was late to our original tour. So that worked out great. Our tour guide was great a lot of helpful information about tour an also had good advice on other things to do around town. I recommend Chris he was great. Wasn’t to trilled about the whole trip but once I did it I really enjoyed it. Views, weather, an atmosphere was amazing!! I’ll post a pic that Chris took for me!!

I recently went on a Pink Jeep tour and had a great experience. Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They shared interesting facts and stories throughout the tour, making it both educational and enjoyable. However, I must warn you that the tour can be quite bumpy at times. So, it's important to hang tight and be prepared for some rough terrain. Overall, I highly recommend the Pink Jeep tour for those looking for an exciting and informative adventure.

We were unsure if we wanted to do this excursion. We afraid that it might be a tourist trap. We were definitely mistaken! We did the Broken Arrow tour and Doug was our guide. Doug was so AWESOME! He has been leading excursions for 11 years and is extremely knowledgeable. Also very funny and entertaining! We were able to see parts of the land that we would have never been able to see if we didn't go on the excursion. Everything was absolutely breathtaking!A couple of tips:The ride was definitely pretty bumpy in several places along the way. So be prepared for that.Wear tennis shoes. There are 2 stops that in order to fully experience all of the views you will have to do very minimal hiking.Bring water! They have water on board, but only to refill water bottles that you bring. If you're on the fence or worried about the price, you should absolutely go! Worth every penny!

We took our three children out for the two and a half hour tour with Dan and it was awesome! It was SO bumpy and we were cracking up bouncing around in the jeep. Dan was extremely knowledgeable and filled us in on both the geology and history of the area. The view from the top was beautiful and Dan took lots of great pictures for us. Bring water for day trips and wear clothes as if you are hiking. It was toasty.

The Coyote Canyon sunset tour with Colleen as our guide made a fun memory for my daughter and me. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history, geology, flora, and fauna of the area and had a very interesting history of personal ties to the area. Gin tasting at the Van Deren cabin would be a great complement to the tour. Also, it would have been nice if the shop had been open after the tour to purchase merchandise.

Dear Pink Jeep Tours,Wow, just wow. On a whim my family and I decided to partake in the Broken Arrow tour, and it is the best last minute decision we have ever made. Our guide, Preston, was particularly knowledgeable about the flora & fauna (did you know pine nuts come from the pinion tree? We did not, but Preston did).Preston demonstrated a unique understanding of the history, culture, and geography of the area which clearly stems from his passion for the region. Not to mention the driving abilities he possessed, taking us effortlessly up and down rock faces — that I am still uncertain were meant to be driven. The rest of my party were eager to watch where Preston maneuvered the jeep and were impressed with his skill; I preferred to keep pestering Preston with questions about more fun facts to keep my mind off the perilous journey. Regardless of the wildly different needs of the group, Preston exceeded expectations all around. As an additional note to any ballerinas touring to Sedona, Preston is a remarkable photographer, especially for dancers. He captured several perfectly timed jump photos, a feat many other dance photographers struggle with. He knew exactly where to take pictures and how to angle them, edit them, alter the exposure, adjust lighting, etc etc etc. Just give him your phone and pose, you will not be disappointed. We will return to Sedona and Pink Jeep Tours and recommend that you should as well. Be sure to request Preston as your guide: he is funny, talented, and will make your trip photo memories last a lifetime.

We did the Broken Arrow tour first with Scott - it was amazing. Scott was a great guide, and shared many interesting facts and trivia regarding the local area, flora and fauna. We had a blast, our guide was fun and we would definitely do it again!!! Thanks Scott for your hospitality! Our second tour was the Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend tour. Definitely a long day, but worth every minute! Our guide was Thor, who is probably one of the funniest, kindest, most knowledgeable, and spiritual people I have ever met. What an absolute joy to spend the day touring with Thor and listening to his many stories of the area, the reservation and the people who live there. We learned so many things. By the end of the day we felt like family! I would highly recommend this tour, as well as the Broken Arrow trip. Pink really has some talented guides who obviously love what they do. I can't wait to come back and do it again!

We have done different tours with this company and it is always worth every penny. Best thing you can do in Sedona. We have never been let down. All of the drivers are phenomenal. We just had Larry for the Broken Arrow Tour and he is awesome. Took lots of pictures for us, was very informative, and easy to talk with.. We will be back. This tour does not disappoint!

Our experience exceeded even what we dared to expect! Pink Jeep Tours does an amazing job at hiring responsible, knowledgeable, and skilled drivers, and that made all the difference as we wound our way through the Broken Arrow Tour. Up, down, and all around, the ride was thrilling as well as informative. I'm a chicken but our driver casually talked throughout the ride in a calm tone which helped to alleviate any concerns I had on the steepest parts. She was amazing! I look forward to my next tour with them!

Karen D — Google review

The tour was AMAZING (and a bit scary). Our tour guide was hilarious and had a great sense of humor. He told us lots of funny stories the whole time which kept us entertained on the more normal parts of the tour. The tour itself was great, there were tons of bumpy parts and few pretty scary moments where you're pretty sure you're about to die. Overall the tour was super fun and so worth it.

This is our second tour this week with Pink Jeeps and our 1st trip with Lori. 10 out of 10, we do recommend. She is well versed on the local culture, routes, trails, and history. She also educated the group with scientific knowledge of all landscape’s surrounding each stop. Our favorite fact about Lori - she is very respectful of the indigenous culture. She painted a positive picture of their history and shared facts straight from the source. Her vehicle was spotless, she provided lunch, endless water bottles, a cooling towel, door to door service, and jokes. What a pleasant time going to and from the Grand Canyon. See you next trip!

I've done the Broken Arrow tour with Pink Jeep Tours not once, but twice now, and each time it's been a blast. The guides are top-notch: very personable and informative...usually at the same time they're pulling off a seemingly impossible rock-crawling feat. You will come away from these tours with new appreciation for the views of Sedona (many of which you can't really get any other way), as well as the capabilities of these Jeeps. Thrilling and eye-opening tours.

Pink jeep tours was a lot of fun! Definitely a good way to see sedona. Our driver, John, was Knowledgeable about the area. He was friendly, helpful and funny. Is a lot of great picture opportunities here. John was more than happy to take pictures of everyone, so we did not have to take selfies.

Tour was fantastic and colleen was wonderful! We did the 2.5hr senic rim tour. Worth every penny. We all had a blast!!! Tour guide was safe, knowledgeable, and fun! Absolutely would do it again! We will definitely be going back for another round on a different tour next time we are in the area!

Lots of FUN!!Been wanting to do a Pink Jeep Tour for some time and was definitely not disappointed by this much anticipated adventure!Ticket purchase super easy online and confirmation received immediately. When we arrived for our scheduled tour, the place was hopping with activity but remained very organized. Check-in was a breeze. Our friendly guide, Steve, was great from the start, and the tour remained engaging throughout its entire duration.Steve was a gem - very knowledgeable about the area and quite the comedian.Highly enjoyed the scenery and experience overall. (And they're not lying about the "bumpy" description!)Definitely recommend for a unique outdoor adventure in beautiful Sedona and certainly plan to do another!

The Broken Arrow tour was a blast! Our driver, Daniel, was outstanding - very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. He even took pictures of us with our own phones. The terrain was rough but Daniel navigated everything perfectly. The views are stunning. Highly recommend!

I'm not usually one for these "group tours" but this was really great. These guys are expert drivers, informative, funny, and they obviously enjoy their jobs. Had a great time and everyone aboard was fun as well. Our guide was Rick but all of the guys seemed fun and everyone on all the jeeps we saw looked like they were having a great time. Sights are legend. Definitely recommend.

My son and a few buddies were in town for a few days. We took a Pink Jeep tour that was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide, Skyler, was great!! We loved him. Super funny and personable. He did very well with a bunch of new 21 year olds. What a great time. Great job Skyler. We had so much fun!

I traveled to AZ to visit a friend. We decided to do the Pink Jeep tour, it was a first for us both. We were the only ones on our 3 hour Scenic Rim/Broken Arrow tour. This was a great way to see Sedona without having to hike & I’m good with that. It was fun and the driver was hilarious! We stopped a few times to take in the beautiful views. The guide took some photos of us. I would 10/10 recommend this tour!

Jamie W — Google review

Wonderful! I feel like these tours are unique offerings compared to other jeep tours, but I did not go on others so I cannot say for sure. :) According to our guide, the pink jeep is to stand out and I feel the experience lived up to that as well. Tom was our guide and filled us in on geological and local history as well as the flora and fauna of the land that we traversed. Most importantly, he was all about the photo ops, tips and tricks so that we can both remember and also properly flaunt our experience. :pWe took the "Scenic rim tour". It is indeed quite "jolting" but the couple with us was not young and they seemed to do just fine. We also chose to do the last tour of the day so as to catch the sunset on the way back and I HIGHLY recommend this as it did not disappoint!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Pink Jeep Tour in Coyote Canyons, and it was an absolute blast! Our guide, Renee, made the tour truly memorable with her humor and extensive knowledge of the area and its diverse plant life. Not only did she provide entertaining commentary throughout the trip, but she also went the extra mile by capturing incredible pictures for us.What made our experience even more special was the fact that we were the only couple on the earliest tour on a Friday. It felt like a private adventure tailored just for us. The breathtaking landscapes of Coyote Canyons unfolded before our eyes, and Renee's expertise added a layer of depth to our understanding of the region's natural wonders. If you're looking for an entertaining, informative, and personalized tour, the Pink Jeep Tour in Coyote Canyons with Renee is an absolute must-try.

Wow! We are so glad we decided to take the Express Grand Canyon day trip as opposed to driving up ourselves. Chris was super knowledgeable (like “wow, this guy is super smart”) and relayed so much information in a very methodical yet non-rehearsed way. We had our 6 year old daughter with us and he kept her engaged and part of the learning. Truly a gift and a pleasure to learn so much from him. We would do it again!

Pink jeep tour is amazing! They have different options for tours and you will definitely be able to find one that fits your personal preference on bumpiness and what type of experiences you are looking for. Staffs and tour guides are super friendly and knowledgeable. My incoming flight got delayed and no longer being able to make it to the tour i originally booked and staff on the phone are so friendly and helpful that she helped me reschedule to another tour that still has openings on the next day. If you are trying to do have an easier tour for the red rocks and in the Sedona area, i would totally recommend.

Celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary on a Broken Arrow trail....so fun! Chose this tour since pink jeep is the only commercial group to have permit. The trail was definitely worth every penny and the driver James B was the ultimate host. Would love to do another tour in the future.

We went on a Pink Jeep tour of Coyote Canyon at 4 PM so we could catch the sunset. Our excellent customer service experience started when I called the company to inquire about a good first-time off-roaring experience. The lady was very helpful and kind.As someone who is prone to motion sickness, I took one non-drowsy Dramamine and sat in the front and was completely fine. Our tour guide Sean, was AMAZING! Careful driver, very knowledgeable, had an answer for every question, and was a fantastic photographer. Sean would come up to each group and offer to take pictures of them at all our stops. He took the Panoramic pic of us. We had the best time! Highly recommend! Also the confirmation email included where there was free parking which was very helpful.

My husband and I visited Sedona for my birthday. Decided on a whim to go ahead and try out Pink Jeep tours. We took the tour that takes you to Merry Go Round Rock (2.5hr tour) and it was awesome. Our tour guide (apologies, I don't recall his name, but an older gentleman) was incredibly nice and knowledgeable about the surroundings. 100% will go again next time we visit Sedona!

We did the Broken Arrow and Scenic View Combo, and would highly recommend spending the extra money! Bonnie gave us a glimpse of each, which was terrific! Be prepared for a bumpy ride, but if you need a smoother ride, I would call shotgun seat. Bonnie did a great job of telling us a lot about the history of the land as well as very knowledgeable about the different plants and trees. She’s been doing tours for 27 years, and you can tell! Best 3 hours to be able to start the day off in Sedona!

The broken arrow trail was GREAT!We had Scott as a tour guide/driver. He made the tour awesome. He had so much knowledge of the area and did all the extra small things to make the day amazing. Highly recommend and the best views of the red rock formations.

Great tour. I will admit our family all took a Dramamine before we left for the tour and glad we did. The tour is something we would have never done on our own. Our guide was wonderful and had so many great local facts to share with our group. I was nervous being in a jeep for 2 hours with another family but it was great, we had 2 other couples with us, we had a lot of laughs together and it was fun chatting with them during the journey. The tour guide gave us a lot of tips for the rest of our trip. We did this tour our first day which I recommend, so you can hear from the local guide other wonderful places to visit and not miss attractions. We took the 9am ride and would for sure recommend to take an earlier ride as opposed to mid day as the paths start to get busy with other local traffic. The ride was bumpy and at points you are going straight up or down very steep rocks but it really is fun and great to have a little thrill.

We went on a Pink Jeep Tour last night! It was so delightful. My mom is sensitive to a bumpy ride so we booked a mild tour, the Red Rock Range Tour. We left around 5pm which was perfect for Golden Hour Photos!! Our tour guide, Christi, was amazing. She was attentive, fun and had a wonderful sense of humor. She even helped us utilize our phones to take the best photos possible. I highly recommend taking a tour with Pink Jeep Tours in Sedona!

Allison B — Google review

Our tour guide was so fun and informative! I'm ashamed to say I can't quite recall his name (I think it was Mark?)He was very helpful, and the tour was easy to set up and even easier to enjoy. We went and stopped at many locations and were recommended some food stops as well! Had a great time and even more amazing views

What a cool way to spend a weekend afternoon. Family visiting, take them to Sedona and hop in a Pink Jeep, and take a 4x4 ride in the most beautiful desert scenery. Guides, I'm sure, are all great. Ours was awesome filling in the ride with funny and informative commentary at the perfect time. Highly recommend, great way to get out and see things. Oh, and if you are concerned about not being able to physically get in and out to see the sights, you don't have to. My mother, for example, isn't particularly mobile, and she was able to get out, walk around, and enjoy the beauty. Get outside and hop in a Pink Jeep 😁

Rick G — Google review

Oh my goodness we loved this tour so much.. our driver was awesome told us all about the areas history, places to visit, made the ride quite amazing and thrilling.. we did the scenic rim tour and boy was it bumpy but that made it worth the ride.. if you’re ever in the Sedona area do yourself a favor and book a tour and enjoy the ride

Jojo S — Google review

What a wild ride!!!! This came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint. We rode with Wild Bill on the 2.5 hour scenic tour. He was wonderful! He had a lot of information about the history of the area and how it came to be as well as the nature around us. They were not kidding about the bumpiness. I would recommend the back seats for those who may struggle with the bumps they have more padding. You are on the ledge of some high cliffs going over boulders and it feels like it. However it was fun and we always felt safe with Bill even if riding on those ledges was terrifying 😂 Check in was easy but definitely think about traffic and how hard it is to find parking in that area. Lots of shops right next door for shopping, food, and drinks.

Best decision I ever made. We usually don't pay for tours because sometimes you don't get what you pay for. The Broken Arrow tour took our breath away in more ways than 1! I am not an early riser, but the 7am tour was breathtaking! It was perfect with barely any traffic on and "off roads". Worth every penny. I still can't figure out how our guide took professional photography quality photos with our phone! Don't forget to tip your guide!

Kim K — Google review

We went on the South Rim and Broken Arrow combo tour. I could not recommend it enough!! Our guide Scott had tons of information about the local geology, town history, local places to go, and plants. The Broken Arrow section of the tripping was thrilling with the jeep at 45 degrees at some points. I am so glad I did this your as we not only had a wonderful time but learned a lot as well!

A group of friends and I went for a bachelorette party and had a blast! Our guide, George, was super knowledgeable and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. He took some amazing group photos and talked about the rock formations, plants, and local wildlife. Highly recommend! The off-roading is very bumpy so if you get carsick or are sensitive to heavy motions (think Indiana Jones ride at Disney) this might not be for you.

Lydia — Google review

We just took the 2 hour Broken Arrow tour today and it was such a fun experience. Glenn, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great mix of fun off-roading and peaceful, scenic views. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sedona. We did this tour as a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 11, 8 and 6) with no issues.

Great tour in Sedona.... Pink Jeep Tours appeared to be all over this area, reflecting the popularity of their services. Their check in area was convenient, bathrooms and gift shop reasonable. The tour itself and our driver was excellent.

Couldn’t say enough positive things about this place.Jonathan was our tour guide and he was amazing. It was cool because on one of our stops we were like talking about life and how unique Sedona is. On top of Jonathan being an amazing Guide for apink Jeep tour- he’s just an amazing human. We did the Broken Arrow trail- and it was just amazing. The whole experience was definitely worth EVERY. single. penny!!!If you’re thinking about this -seriously… do it. And also they do accept tips & trust me - you’re gonna want to! The time they spend making sure this experience is amazing for you- it was worth it all.Our tour guide was literally our built in photographer too. 🤣Can’t say enough positive things about this whole experience.

Caleigh A — Google review

We just did the Red Rock Range tour yesterday with the family. It was such a fun experience and our tour guide was the best. While we chose the second to most mild of the tours, we still got to experience some 4 wheeling fun with plenty of bumps and hills that our 2 year old absolutely loved. He held on tight to his little pink jeep toy the whole ride as well as the entire 1.5 hour drive home. We would absolutely recommend taking the time to do this if you're in town. Just note, you will get a little dirty but it's worth it.
